Mikula|Harris was selected to provide branding and creative services for one of the most exciting new tourism initiatives in Virginia in 2010. The Upper James River Water Trail was created to promote responsible recreational use of the river as it winds through Botetourt County. The scenic beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains as seen from river level is a key part of the advertising strategy. A logo, print media ad campaign, brochure, and website round out the campaign materials.
