Today’s Good News is old news. It’s 236 years old this week to be precise. Drafted by Thomas Jefferson – Virginian, statesman, philosopher, inventor and visionary – the Declaration of Independence laid the foundation for what would become the United States of America.
In the realm of political philosophy, no more beautiful words have ever been written than, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
