The Salvation Army of Roanoke
The Salvation Army of Roanoke takes on tough foes every day — like abuse, poverty, homelessness and despair. They are committed to winning and changing lives but they need help from the community to succeed.
They turned to Mikula-Harris to help increase both awareness and contributions. The strategy behind the campaign is to let people know that their support of the Salvation Army plays an important role in solving societal problems and helps to improve lives right in their own community.
The result is a multi-channel campaign that includes ads, billboards, point-of-sale displays and social media. The campaign launched during the holiday season when the familiar red kettles were out in full force, but it’s not a holiday-themed message, so it can be used all year round to continue building awareness of the Salvation Army’s vital mission.
