It’s not easy to have breaking news when Good News Monday only comes around once a week. This video is sweeping the internet and many of you have probably seen it by now. If you have, I think you’ll agree it’s most worthy of Good News Monday. If you have not seen it, close your office door so your co-workers don’t see you getting choked up.
At a field day near the close of the school year, the students at Colonial Hills Elementary School enjoyed a day of running, playing and competing in all sorts of events. One young student at the school has Cerebral Palsy, which makes even walking difficult. Matt was offered the chance to sit it out but he wanted to run one event just like all his classmates. What happened next is extraordinary. Matt’s effort and determination is inspiring enough, but watch what his classmates do to support him.
